Ecuadorean Cooking!

Another group of students got to enjoy the delicious taste of the ecuadorian meal "Llapingachos"!


Llapingachos are fried potato cakes with a filling of cheese. They are usually served with fried eggs and salad.

After an hour of hard work, everybody was finally able to enjoy this amazing meal!






 If you want to try it at home, here is an amazing recipe:

INGREDIENTES


For the Llapingachos:
Potatos
Butter
Eggs
Cheese
Achiote
For the salads:
Tomatos
Cucumber
Oninon
Avocado
Carrots
beetroot
Lemon
Salt

Para acompañar:
Sausage
Eggs


PREPARACIÓN

1. Peal and cook the potatos with a bit of salt
2. Mash the potatos until they form a puree
3. Add two spoons of butter
4. Put in an egg and mix well until it is a uniform mass
5. Form small balls out tof the mass
6. Make a hole in every one and add a bit of cheese
7. Close the hole and form tortillas
8. Fry the tortillas in oil and achiote
9. Prepare the salads and fry the eggs and sausage
